I have seen examples between such and such dates. What do I put in place of between for one number? say 42. Do I just put =[“type the operation number you are looking for”] .
Is there a list of the operators anywhere?

      Dear John,

If I understand correctly, you don’t want fancy parameters like between #date1# and #date2# you just want to enter a single parameter like 42. In that case you are correct, just use the wording you suggested.

        Thank You
I will try it in the morning. I wasn’t sure if I just used the equals sign then the brackets or something else.

        Thanks
        John

To see all the operators, lookup the word Operators in the Help index.
You do not need the = in your expression. Just type the phrase you want to display in the parameter window within square brackets.

      [Type the operation number]

Place it in the criteria cell for the field on which you are performing the search.
