Arghhh…I am trying to run a query (the last of 3 queries which summarizes the other two). I keep getting “Overflow”. Help didn’t help me much in this case. The first two queries run just fine, the third one doesn’t. What is the “usual” problem when this occurs? I have the same exact program in Office 97 with a slightly different dataset and it works just fine. My (dare I say) educated guess is that there is something wrong with the data, but I cannot find anything out of the ordinary.

    Thanks much!

I’ve gotten that MsgBox when trying to calculate via division. Seems Access doesn’t want to divide by zero!

So I used a very small number – like 1E-6 or smaller – to get around the problem.

Anyway, if you’re using divison, that’s a possible culprit.

      HTH,

      Tom

      Hi,

please verify you variable (if integer make it double) or check if you don’t have a string format instead of a number.
