Outlook Predictive Text Feature

Out of the blue, my Outlook 365 started using the predictive text feature within the past week.  You start to type something and it figures out what you might be trying to write and offers a ‘TAB’ option to complete the word or phrase.  I did not turn any thing on and can only assume from looking at a couple of Internet posts that this is a new feature and may installed by default during an update.  It was a surprise when it appeared but after a couple of days I am finding it somewhat useful.

Has anyone else had experience with this?

I think it was just dribbled out.  I didn’t do anything in terms of enabling it.  I did find out how it can be disabled but I’m getting used to it.  the hit rate in terms of what I am writing is quite high.  I just have to keep the ‘TAB’ finger agile.

You don’t, they dribble. And yes the dribble where some people have it and others don’t and suddenly it’s there is slightly annoying.

It’s annoying in that MSFT knows who is using Office 365.  I also have an Azure account and last but not least am a long time shareholder.  I could have received an email alert about the new feature.  Actually as I’ve been using it for a lot of emails, it is quite good in terms of predicting.  I’ll likely keep it enabled.
