Outlook opens slowly

All of a sudden, Outlook Express began to open/startup very slowly. Once it opens, the NEW MAIL window also opens slowly. After that, everything is at normal speed. Read somewhere that some DLL files may be corrupted. How can this be corrected?

You might try compacting your folder(s). Under FILE, FOLDER, COMLPACT.
