• Outlook not displaying some graphics

Today Outlook 2010 decided to not display some graphics in the reading pane. Also not showing when I double-click on the message to open it up. Other graphic elements within same messages are displayed. Outlook has been working fine for months. Some setting dinged perhaps?

Clicking on the blank area of a graphic that represents a link still opens the browser to the link. IOW, the link in the email message still functions.

In the trust center under “Automatic Download” the option “Don’t download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items” is UNCHECKED. (The subordinate checkboxes are checked but greyed out.)

I seem to recall that before SP1 there was an anomaly where Word was displaying black boxes rather than graphics inserted into the document. As I recall there was a tweak to take care of it. Something similar here maybe?
