are they not changing color or do you want to use a differnet color?
they should be the same as the browser settings. (from control panel, internet options)

I am wondering if I can get them to change color when they have been visited so I know if I have used them.

well, they normally do – ooohhh… except in plain text messages (not sure on RTF format). also, they only affect the message you clicked from, not other links to the same site in a different mail.

links in html messages definitely change color, because outlook uses the IE rendering engine. it’s also controled by the history setting in IE. If you clean out the history or have it set low, the followed links lose the color.

They do change color until you click somewhere else, then they are the original color. My problem is that they are dead. they don’t get me to the page I’m looking for.

These links, are they in incoming or out going email?

They are NOT hot links until the email has been sent, so it you are testing them in a NEW out going email they will not work.
