    Hi All!

Gosh, I wish we could still search this forum, because I’m sure someone’s already tried to do what I’m trying to do….Anyway, here goes….

I have a powerpoint slideshow (pps) on a local network file server (non-internet/intranet). I want to be able to insert a hyperlink to the slideshow in an Outlook message. So far, that’s easy.

But when you click on the link, right now it opens in a browser window. I need it to open in full screen mode, no browsing artifacts above or below.

I’ve already checked the MS site for switches, but none of them seem to work with the pps. Is it possible to do this at all? Do I _need_ the ppt in order to hyperlink it to full screen mode?

    TIA!!!!

I think this is an Outlook setting, not a PPT one. Basically, Outlook would determine if the PPS file opens in a browser or in its assigned program. People with more Outlook knowledge will be able to give you better info on that, I’m sure.

Then again, maybe it’s opening in a browser because your users don’t have PPT or at least the PPT Viewer on their systems. They’d need one of those in order to view the PPS file as a PPS file…
