    Hello everyone:

I am working for a client, and he sent me a few contacts via email as an attachment (23) the problems is that when I click on the actual white I see all 23 contact yellow envelopes, when I click on one yellow envelope, it opens up, but there is no address.

Just an empty email, with no information. I am doing something wrong? Could it be a version issue?

    Thanks dillon

If you are not using Exchange Server, sending contacts by attaching or forwarding them does not seem to work very well. The more reliable way is to send them as vCards. It’s almost as easy. smile

Your client should open the Contacts folder and Ctrl+Click each of the cards (I use the card view) of the contacts he wants to send you. Then use the Actions menu and choose Forward as vCard. This, after a few moments of delay while Outlook converts the format, will pop up a new blank message with individual attachments for each contact in the “standard” vCard format. (Actually, there are two vCard standards, but as long as you’re both using Outlook, it should be fine.)

Hope this helps! (Note: this works in Outlook 2002 (Office XP) and I don’t know about earlier or later versions.)
