“Users trying to login with basic authentication”

I wonder if possibly an issue with web browsers using TLS 1.0? Just a guess.

Happy to report that I was, at long last, able to sign in to my mail box as of about an hour ago.

      Today Outlook.com is OK.

      Different issue

Google email accounts occasionally drive me crazy via Outlook, refusing logon. Subsequent manual logon via browser results in finding a message reporting new device (when I only ever use three verified devices). Why Google does not have an option to verify via MAC address instead of their current mystery method is baffling.  Yes you can spoof a MAC address but you could probably spoof the mystery method Google use at present as well.

They may have fixed outlook.com but it appears they broke something else. I cannot log into the office365 exchange admin page. Getting a 401 error just like it was reported with consumer user logins.
