Does anyone out there run SETI@Home and have trouble with Outlook? I run S@H as much as I can at home and at work. My work PC runs OL2K which has problems w Seti. When Seti is running in “constant” mode (as opposed to “screen saver” mode), Outlook has trouble getting a “word” in edgewise. Outlook appears to get locked out as Seti hogs the processor. Previous versions of Outlook did not appear to have that problem. My Windows ME system at home runs just fine with Seti chugging away in the background.

Does anyone know of a “switch” that can be thrown in Outlook 2K that will allow it to share the processor with Seti in a more equitable fashion?

    TIA, Douglas

Sorry, running Win2K Professional at work and Win ME at home.

        Thanks, Douglas

I’m not seeing the problem with OL2K-SR1 on Win2K Professional with SETI. What type of PC (processor, memory, etc.) is giving you the problem?

      What version of Seti@home?
