Outlook 98 then 2000 Fax

I posted the message below in the W98 forum and, having been browsing through here this eveining thought “does O2k support faxing? If it does then I’ll install O2k on the upgraded PC’s running W98…..? I am puzz-el-ed….

I’m 2/3rds through the upgrading of PC’s. This PC is running W98SE – I did have W95SR2, on it along with Outlook 98. Please, where can I install Faxing from? It used to be in Communications!

I, at this stage will be happy to uninstall W98, re-install W95, get the faxing capability, the re-install W98 – keeping old W95 installation BUT, will this solve the missing fax? Comments, ideas, suggestions will be appreciated.

it’s in office setup – if using internet mode, you have winfax se (it’s awful) or ms fax if corp mode.

i’m not sure if ms fax is included with the os install, it’s on the cd, under oldwin folder. awfax.exe

Many, many thanks MaryJ, your response was absolutely spot on, the W98 CD does have the fax file (whoopy dee!!)where you said it was. From a mere mortal : “Thank You M’Lady”
