• Outlook 2003 News? (XP )

    Hi people, does anyone use Outlook to read newsgroups? I cant seem to be able to set them up in Outlook 2003? Thought it was time to ask. Thank you.

      Hi Cyberdance,

      Long time no see!

      I don’t think Outlook 2003 does newsgroups. Launching the newsreader should actually start Outlook Express, so you might as well start it directly. There are some articles about this on http://office.microsoft.com[/url%5D, but that seems to be down at the moment.

        hello Hi there Hans, hope you are well, good to see you. Gosh I am a clod, newbrain I have been trying to get Outlook to activate its newsgroups, and could not figure out why it kept on launching OE! Someone give me a coffee, lol. Thanks so much for the swift reply, otherwise I would have no doubt continued to stuff up. As soon as I read your reply it hit me, of course there are no groups in Outlook!!! I must have been away too long………thanks a million. smile
