Outlook 2002 quits on receive (Office XP SP2/WinXP Pro SR1)

I’m finding that Oulook 2002 (SP2 installed) frequently quits when receiving POP messages. The error message is “Microsoft Outlook has encounetered a problem and needs to close…”, and offers to send an error report to MS. This happens nearly every time it receives POP mail, so is a real pain (the messages are there when it restarts, though, so it’s not losing anything). I have several rules running, and also primarily use IMAP mail. Does anyone have any ideas?
