Is there a way to setup the Out of office agent before hand, with a specified date to start and/or stop?

      Not that I’m aware of.

It used to be possible to select specific names from a Personal Distribution List when creating a new message. Can’t seem to do in 2002. Anyone?

DLs are made from contacts… so you would need to select from a contact. If you were using Internet mode in an earlier version, it might have been different… but it’s always been this way in Corp AFAICR.

Did select from contacts and not sure what Corp AFAICR is (sorry). Looking at an old screen shot from 2000, one was able to select a to: or cc: from within a DL.

There were two versions of Outlook and each had different behaviors – internet only mode and corporate.

‘As Far As I Can Remember’ Corp mode never allowed you to select from the DL – you needed to select the individual contact, not select it from the DL.

I didn’t use IMO mode (internet mail only) and the behavior of it’s groups might have been different. However, OL2002 lost a lot of features available only in IMO mode, so this could be one of them.
