Working with an excel file–got an error message when I attempt to open the file–“out of memory–file too large”. Unable to open the file or recover it using Norton Utilities or Bad Copy. Any ideas?

Is this the same workbook as in post 313523? That would point to workbook corruption. The easiest “solution” is going back to a recent backup (you make backups regularly, of course.) If it’s another workbook, it’s suspect that this happens twice in a short time. If it keeps occurring after restarting the computer, check your hard disk.
