      You can edit the *.NT files by first unchecking the “read only” attribute using Windows Explorer, right click on the file, and go to properties… uncheck the “read only” box.

      You might try adding this to your autoexec.nt:

      command.com /e:1024

      which would set an environment of 1024kb. Of course this would be using command.com for the DOS programs instead of cmd.exe, but it works.

        Hi swinn

        Dosen’t command.com belong in config.nt?

        I used something like on old ms-dos computer.

        shell=c:doscommand.com c:dos /p /e:512

        To utilize the command.com do I have to do anything special in my pif?

        Thanks for your responce

        John
