Looking inside my registry, I found that the following key has a value of zero.

Could that be the reason why I’m not offered 2004 or 20H2 thru Windows update ?

I just remember that I had set this key to zero 2 years ago because I didn’t want to

be force to update to Win 10 when I was on Win 7. Now that I am on Win 10, 1909,

should I set this key to a value of “1” .

I’ve just checked a clean install of Windows 10 20H2 and an existing install of 1909. Neither show this key:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\OSUpgrade

As a result I believe it’s a key you have created yourself (or from a REG file). With that in mind, I suggest exporting the key (as a safeguard) then deleting the key from the registry rather than amending the AllowOSUpgrade entry.

      Hope this helps…

I have exported to key and delete it and reboot. No change, 2004 is not offered and I don’t have Conextant drivers. Some people say to install with media creation tool but it could mess up PC if there are incompatibility

MCT doesn’t mess with your PC. And you have a backup don’t you?

          cheers, Paul

There are still update blockers for devices that have Conexant devices and drivers. You need to tell us more about your hardware.
