I am trying to create an org chart. I want to increase the size of the boxes. Can I set the size of the box?
When I create the first box, I drag it out to the size that I want and then I want to copy it. I am unable to do this.
Any help would be appreciated.

When you say you are unable to copy the box you have drawn to the desired size, do you mean that the Edit>Copy function is greyed out (or when you right click on the mouse does not show that menu item)? Do you have the box selected with the pointer tool?

I highlight the object that I have resized. I rightclick and hit copy, I then use the paste command and the new object is pasted in, but it is not at the new size.
Does that make sense? I have attached a sample copy of what is happening.

I don’t see any attachment. However, I agree that if the pasted box is coming in at a different size to the one you copied, that is very odd. I have only used Visio a few times, and this is a procedure I have often used, but never had this happen. Sorry I can’t offer any further suggestions.

Whenever I want to copy a shape I; select the pointer option, click on the shape to highlight, press ctrl + D (duplicate), click either paste or ctrl + V, and drag copy where I want it.

I find this particularly useful when there is restricted space and you wish to add a number of separate notes next to the flowchart.
