    I have just download the latest windows 2000 update, and now when I try to open Front page I get the following message.
    the ordinal 6880 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42.dll.

    Am I correct in thinking you cannot use system restore in Windows 2000 as in XP ?

      Sounds like the mfc42.dll file has been corrupted or ‘upgraded’.
      Search for it, rename it “mfc42.old”, and try running a repair of FP.
