    Hi all,

Is there a setting in IE to force a window to open maximized when I follow a link with SHIFT depressed, or right-click and Open in new window?

    Tx

Internet Explorer doesn’t “remember” whether it ought to be maximized, but it does remember window size. You can do the following:
      – Close all Internet Explorer windows but one.
      – If the remaining Internet Explorer window is maximized, restore it.
      – Resize the window to be as large as possible by dragging its edges with the mouse.
      – Close the window.
Next time, opening a link in a new window should result in a non-maximized but “maximum size” window.

BUT, If a pop up opens and you close it, the next window that opens MAY be the size of the pop up. bwaaah
