Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
I recently installed Outlook Express 5.50.4522.1200 and it no longer presents the Open Attachment Warning dialog box when clicking on attached MS-Office97 documents, but rather the relevant application just launches and opens the attached document.
Is there a Registry entry to fix this, or any other fix that anyone knows of?
I have searched the product documentation and Microsoft’s Knowledge Base and can’t find anything about this …
