• Open Args Error (A97 SR2)

I am getting the dialog box Enter Parameter Value – OpenArgs when running my code from a form for a report. The code opens a report, asks which label to start with and then opens the report. The underlying module also takes input from the form on how many labels to print. I have attached the database so that you can see what is going on.

    I would appreciate any help.

There is a text box txtArgs with Height = 0 and Visible = No in the report header section of rptLabel2x2 and rptLabel4x4. Its Control Source is

      =Report.OpenArgs

The OpenArgs property for reports was introduced in Access 2002 (XP), so in Access 97 you’ll get prompted for it. As far as I can see, the txtArgs text box doesn’t have any function, so you can safely delete it from both reports. You shouldn’t get the parameter prompt any more.

Thank you once again Hans. I had forgotton that I had put that invisible text box in the header.
