Do you know whether OneNote for Mac/iOS is being discontinued? I recently switched from Evernote to OneNote, and I like OneNote much better. Thanks.

        Yes, it’s not:

OneNote for Mac is part of Office 2019 and Microsoft 365, but it can also be downloaded from the Mac App Store and used independently on any Mac with a 64-bit processor running macOS 10.13 or later.

(While all supported versions of OneNote are free to download and use, certain premium features can be unlocked with an optional Microsoft Office 2019 or Microsoft 365 subscription.)

not only is OneNote not being discontinued on Mac, it’s going to get more attention soon (I almost included this in the newsletter but I haven’t been sure how many Mac users there are here!). Vishnu Nath, the VP and GM for OneNote, tweeted that “we are looking at things holistically to bring them all into better alignment” – meaning more investment on Mac.

There are quite a crowd of us Mac people here. Glad for whatever information you want to include.
          Thanks.

Ditto….I gave up my Win 7 PC two years ago and went exclusively Mac.  Windows updates were getting too convoluted and difficult to manage.  While Ask Woody does have Mac info which I rely on, eg, Patch List and Forum postings, I will appreciate any thing additional to help us out.  Both Mac and iPhone.

… or right-click OneNote on the start menu, then Uninstall.
