Can someone explain why it is impossible to move OneNote data files to a different account by simply moving them to the new OneDrive account? I’ve seen very convoluted explanations of how to do this by sharing from OneDrive, but it seems overly complex. It seems the data files (or folders in the case of notebooks) must be coded somehow to the account in which they were created.

If anyone knows of an easy way to move the data, as you do with almost every other database app, I’d appreciate hearing it.  I really like OneNote, but I’d like to get the files into my own OneDrive account.

    Thanks!
