Immediately after installing KB5044285 on W11 23H2, OneDrive began crashing due to a fault in KERNELBASE.dll. OneDrive.exe was updated by KB5044285. Has anyone else seen this problem? I am reluctant to roll back KB5044285. From Event Log:

      OneDrive.exe was updated by KB5044285.

I don’t think so. It’s not listed as a file changed by that KB:

      File information

For a list of the files that are provided in this update, download the file information for cumulative update 5044285.

It’s more likely to have been changed by a Microsoft 365 update.

Which channel do you use for Office updates?

Thanks, you are right about OneDrive.exe not being in the list, however KERNELBASE.dll which is the faulting DLL is in the list. I doubt the problem is in that DLL though. I had forgotten that I had not seen the exe in the list. A better description is that that OneDrive.exe was updated at the time I allowed the KB5044285 update to be processed. I am on the Current channel for Microsoft 365 family subscription. I have the option on to get Office updates with Windows updates. I don’t see Microsoft 365 updates in the list along with the Windows updates. Where can I find these?

Microsoft 365 updates are not via Windows Update. Your current version is at File, Account, in any Office program and the release history is via Update Options, View Updates there.

Try repairing OneDrive at Settings, Apps, Installed apps, Microsoft OneDrive, Repair.
