I recently installed OffXP on my PC which had several user profiles on it. The installation went ok and Off XP works fine from the main shell. However, none of the profiles can use any of the office programs. They start but then fire back the error “Office XP has not been installed for this user, insert Office XP installation disc and re-install”. OK – that’s fine but do I really have to re-install for all users? Why did I not get an option to do this at the start?
    Any help would be appreciate

Were you logged into the administrator account for that machine when you installed Office XP? If not, then you installed it only for your profile, not for the others. If you installed it from the administrator account, you should have seen an option to install for the current user or all users.

If you do not see such option, abort installation, and from administrator account open Control Panel | Add and Remove Programs | Install New Program. Office will be installed for “All Users”.
