    Whenever I start Excel (2003SP3), it’s taken to loading and displaying a ‘new’ toolbar. Ditto in Word.
    I don’t want it.
    It doesn’t appear as an add-in.
    How do I disable it, ‘permanently’?

      Is the Office Live add-in listed in the Add or Remove Programs control panel? If so, you can try to uninstall it.
