If you’re asking whether Microsoft tests their software before release… You’re right to ask.
Take for example that the Windows 10 version currently being evaluated by USERS on the Fast and Slow rings for release as the “Creator’s Update” was built from sources a scant 10 days ago.
Microsoft, even backed up by the entire world of pre-release users (some 10 million by a recent count) can’t hope to test Windows properly in a couple of weeks. There are some things the operating system only does weekly or monthly!
I honestly don’t know whether they test patches to older systems more thoroughly before release, but I suspect that their “engineer’s development system to user’s computer in a few weeks” culture must be affecting patch quality as well.
This model is not at all what we need and expect for operating system quality.

</Event>Kind regardsI uninstalled KB3114389 and it resolved the issue straight away without a reboot.
The user is on Windows 10 x64 1607. Not all users are having this issue, I have over 50 machines with this patch and only 2 or 3 have had this issue so far. I am going to pull the patch anyway from deployment so no one else has this issue.
Regards
Jason
