I know it’s old, it’s out of MS support, there are newer editions, and so on.
But I disperately need an original installer file for Office 2010 Professional 32-bit.
Please help me.

Unfortunatelly, I cant see any obvious way where to find it on official Microsoft web. This is as close as I can get.. No download link there
The Microsoft website is full of half-true statements explaining, how Office 365 is secure, best in the world and contains “exclusive, new features every month”. Nah.
Website is also full of happy looking people, from whom no one is actually working in Office or doing anything productive.
I am affraid you must try to download from some “untrusted” source. We keep our installations backed up, which I strongly reccomend for you to do so next time. It can save you from troubles

Office 365 apps do get exclusive, new features every month:
@HanJohnJo is not interested in updating every month, since he is asking for Office 2010 product, for which he (probably) payed his money.
And there are lot of people that are not interested in everchanging SW with some probability, that something will break. Some people just want to have Office package, as they know it.

True also is, that every month several new bugs/malfunctions appear! Where is that mentioned? Thats why I used half-true.
If their developpers department must come with at least one improvement every month, that is not good idea for me.
I disagree with Microsofts aggressive marketing strategy, where they do not mention ANY possible downside.

Actually on the semi-annual patching channel of Office I don’t find 365 to be a problem?
Bottom line the only place legally you can get an Office 2010 iso is on the VLSC (volume license) and then you need to have that volume license key. Otherwise I don’t have a safe and legit site.

on the webpage its possible: heidoc.net
On the right pane, there is direct download link section.
You can also download robust tool, to get official MS products.
Download here
The site and tool does not seem to work anymore with Office 2010, sorry

I’m in the U.S. and thought I’d try the link @doriel provided, and it looks like I’ve been successful:
https://heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/18-office-2010-direct-download-links. Hope so.
If you are able to download the installer for Office 2010 (a large .exe file, I believe, for the stand-alone .msi version) from Heidoc.net, you will still need a valid license key to activate it. Be sure to download the edition/version that matches the license key.
unfortunately, the Office 2010 downloads are mostly unavailable on most days and only work on “monthly download days” so to speak as noted in this forum page.
right now OP is almost out of luck (unless the Office 2010 Professional download in question can be found doing some google searches)
I think that this is what you are looking for:
https://archive.org/details/en_office_professional_plus_2010_x86_dvd_515529
I looked at the contents of the zip file which is in the internet archive link which I sent you. You should be able to simply create a temporary folder on your hard drive, then extract the contents of the zip file into this temporary folder, and then run the setup.exe file.
Presently I am downloading an X17 version of Office 2010 Professional Plus 32-bit. I have to check it in order to verify that the download does not contain any malware.
What is the X16 version you had?
Dear Friends,
I want to thank you all who took time and effort to help me.
As my search was made in several places and directions – including AskWoody – I’ve been fortunately able to find an original X-16 single image .exe file from a software reseller who had kept a copy of it. And the full SP2 (KB2687455) is still available in the Microsoft Update Catalog.
Mission accomplished.
Thank you very much again!
