I have been able to generate simple bar graphs within access using access table data, but I need to take it one step further and plot a line on top of the Bars. Currently my chart show fiscal year months and contract values for each month and are displayed as a single bar for each month, I need to add a line that totals all contract values for the entire fiscal year and lay that on top of the Bars. Can someone point me in the right direction for source material that I can reference or possibly get me thnking in the right direction on how to add that second type of data. I would really prefer not to do this in Excel, (although it would be easier), as that would require me to physically modify the chart weekly. I want to stay with access and use queries to formulate the plot point and graph within access so all I have to do is run the report… Thank You for any direction someone can point me in.
