Yep, Garbette went off to college and is discovering all the little things that mom used to do that she has no clue about. Fun, fun fun! Now all I do is say, did you ask your roomates? Your RA (resident assistant)? Student Services? Health Center? The long distance whining goes down a little then. Definitely a learning experience for all.

Well, back to repainting her room…..

It is amazing how much smarter we become in the eyes of our children as they get older. I have two finishing up college this year and it is funny to my wife and I as we see them do things that we taught them to do but they believe it is something they developed on their own!

Thanks! I’m still being chastised by Garbette for losing her leggings, book, and ugg boots. On purpose. I found the leggings today and the book yesterday so now it’s off to comb through the winter clothes boxes for her boots.

I’ve been finding all sorts of interesting things since I’ve been cleaning up – like mummified sandwiches(I swear I ate my lunch, Mom!), a graphing calculator that doesn’t belong to her (hmmm) and some incriminating notes.
