I have an Access database that runs a macro to create link tables into an SQL database. After having some trouble with the SQL syslog a few weeks ago the tables no longer refresh when created by the macro. When I create a link table manually all is well, when left to the macro the data is two weeks old (corresponding to the date of the SQL trouble). Any idea what might be causing this and how I can recover? dizzy

Can you post the offending code here?

I think I have found the problem. It seems that my ODBC connection was pointing to the wrong database (“master” vice my data “DevDB”). I have corrected this and am transferring the data now. Here is the code anyway… just in case dizzy
