    Hello to all,

We have a user who gets the following error message each time she opens a particular Access database:

“Your Microsoft office access database or project contains a missing or broken reference to the file

      Try the following:
      – Open the database with the Shift key held down, to bypass the startup options.
      – Activate the Visual Basic Editor (Alt+F11)
      – Select Tools | References…
      – There is probably at least one reference that starts with MISSING.
      – Make a note of the missing references, then clear their check boxes and click OK.
      – See if the database runs OK now.

        Hi Hans,

        Thanks for the quick response.

I will give your suggestion a try as soon as I can pin down the user. She’s been unavailable so far today. I’ll let you know how it comes out.

        Thanks again…
