    Hi
Can anyone advice if I should install the latest November patch KB 2991963 (MS14-078) for Japanese Input Method Editor or hold?
Windows Secrets Newsletter suggests What to do: Be sure to test these updates before deployment. What exactly does that mean? I use Windows 7 for personal home use only.
    Thanks for any help.

If you do not ever use Japanese then skip it. Note: you can most likely just install it without a problem.

Thanks, I do not use Japanese. Should I just right click the patch and hide it? Belarc advisor pc check seems to think it should be installed but that may be an international thing? Do you know what Susan Bradley means about testing before deployment?
        Cheers

Go ahead with right click and hide.

It installed without issues on mine.

Before you wonder "Am I doing things right," ask "Am I doing the right things?"
