      You might want to watch out for this one as it fails to install and when you hit try again all the Office 2016 updates spring in to play and this happens on Win10x64Pro ver. 1607 & same again on insider ver. 15063. Got bit once with this on ver. 1607. Defective update? or ploy to circumvent GPEDIT settings as they are locked down on both versions. 🙁 Win 10 Pro x64 Ver. 1607

        Unlikely that it’s a plot, but possible it’s a bug.

        What gpedit settings do you have in place?

          Computer config -> Admin Templates ->Windows Components

          Data collection & Preview Builds-> Allow Telemetry:Enabled:1:Basic
          -> Disable pre-release:Enabled:Device
          settings only:(1)
          -> Do not show feedback notifications:Enabled
          -> Toggle user control over insider builds:Enabled
          Internet Explorer->Internet control panel->Advanced Page->Allow IE to use
          SPDY/3:Enabled

          Windows update->DeferWindows update->Select When Feature updates are received:CBB (180days) Pause feature updates:selected

          Windows update->Configure Automatic Updates immediate installation:Enabled (2)notify for d/l & Inst.
          Do not include drivers with windows updates:Enabled

          Nothing at all configured in Windows Defender policy (untouched) On Win10Prox64 ver 1607.
