    Go slow.

    Take it easy.

    Do what you can.

Be where you supposed to be.

Do what you are supposed to do.

Do the best you are able.

    Stay safe.

    Stay comfortable.

Enjoy what is there where you are.

What wonderful sentiments. I would only add the following: Be kind and empathic.

      Peace, CAS

Here is a little posy of thoughts, not all necessarily cheerful but, I believe, all appropriate — as always is appropriate what’s true — about time, the passing of years, and New Year resolutions. The two haiku are favorites of mine; I think they are perfect reminders of the uncertain duration of our precious time in this world, telling us to keep that in mind and to keep moving people!

“The months and days are the travelers of eternity. The years that come and go are also voyagers.” Matsuo Bashö.

“You are never too old to set another
goal or to dream a new dream.” C.S. Lewis

      In the cicada’s cry
      No sign can foretell
How soon it must die. Matsuo Bashō

“I want to make a New year’s prayer, not a resolution. I’m praying for courage.” Susan Sontag.

“New Year resolution: To tolerate fools more gladly, provided this does not encourage them to take up more of my time.” James Agate.

      “My life, –
How much more of it remains?
The night is brief.”  Masaoka Shiki
