      I give in.
I’m disconnecting my ‘phone and reading all the books I’ve bought so far this year but have not been able to read owing to interruptions by telemarketers.

Speaking of arrghh. Try Googling Adam Sandler Bedtime Stories ringtone

My ringtone is the start of the “Money” track from “Dark Side of the Moon” (Shows his age).

Ringtone singular, not ringtones plural? Speaking of showing ages, mine include:

Light My Fire, Doors (when the Bride calls )
          Feelin’ Alright, Joe Cocker
          Enter Sandman, Metallica
Bad Boys (“Cops” TV program theme music)
Boys In Town, Divinyls (for the unmarried daughters, which is kind of rude of me)
Blister In The Sun, Violent Femmes
          Hot, Hot, Hot, Buster Poindexter
          In-a-gadda-da-vida, Iron Butterfly
Wlking on the Sun, Smash Mouth
          and of course..
Living in the Past, Jethro Tull

I have DSotM, but I think a better Pink Floyd RT would be the “we don’t need no education” chorus from The Wall…scurrying off to create it now. :

            … In-a-gadda-da-vida, Iron Butterfly …

Hey great! But just how long is that drum solo …

I sampled that particular track not so much for the Floyd’s music but the cacophony of bells; chimes and alarm clocks that starts that track.

Back when I was a young fellah I worked for a year on a remote weather station on a South Pacific “desert” island. Our mechanic was impossible to get up in the mornings and various ways were attempted to get him out of his pit. One successful method was to sneak the stereo speakers from the living room into the corridor outside his bedroom, crank the volume up to 10 and to play that track.

I have on occasion resorted to similar tactics to get my teenage son up before Sat morning has slipped away. I found bits of ‘Tales from Topographic Oceans’ by Yes to be very effective.
