We are networking 2 home computers together and were given a “Static I.P.Address”. I have no idea where to put this number.
I printed info from Microsoft XP site and it tells me I need to put in the primary and secondary DNS server address. Where do I get that info?
    Thanks

From your ISP. Or, If you are currently online you can obtain the DNS addresses by going to Start | Run. Then type CMD. Once the command window opens type “ipconfig /all” (sans quotes). Near the bottom of the list will be the DNS server addresses.
