As you may have guessed from my previous posts I am upgrading from Win ME to XP Pro on my home machine. We also has a old Win 95 box, which we have networked to the Win ME computer. Has anyone found difficulties networking with Win XP and 95? What about internet connection sharing?

    Thanks

[/indent] Networking any older OS seems to cause problems for a lot of users, especially if you are adding XP to an existing network.

Connection sharing shouldn’t be a problem. In fact, that seems ok, it’s accessing resources from XP to the older machines that seems to be the problem.

Networking with XP and 95 should be a breeze – Xp will create a setup disk that will install the networking components you need to make it work.

The most prevalent difficulty I have seen is that XP does not enable NetBEUI by defaul and installing it usually solves a host of weird problems.
