I just got a new computer and now have Win 7- Home; my old computer was XP.I have 2007 MS Office Professional and have 700 people in my ‘Contact’ list within ‘Outlook’. I cannot find the file that contains my contacts. Anyone know what the name of the file is and where the file can be located? Be nice, there’s a reason I call myself “Jughead”, and it’s got alot to do with being not so computer savy…

Contacts are in your PST file with all the other Outlook data.

Try the Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftOutlook folder in your profile. If this is not visible, you may not be viewing hidden files and folders. In Windows XP, you can adjust that setting using Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View tab.
