My Event Viewer gets stuck at loading

Greetings,  I have quite a problem,
Event viewer was loading fine, when suddenly and without warning, kb4023057 suddenly executed a program called rempq (or something like that) and suddenly my computer froze

I was forced to shut it down since I couldn’t do anything

after reboot I opened Event viewer it opened but it got stuck hours and hours trying to read a log (which it couldn’t do) and after proper shutdowns and restart  and multiple failed attempts at repair  it stayed the same , what can I do?

I mean I hate event viewer and I can access the logs using Myeventviewer however IT’S not ok to have an Malfunctioning app

what can I do to restore it that doesn’t involve fresh installation?

Oddly, it loads  in Computer management, but not in Event viewer itself.

Just someone who don't want Windows to mess with its computer.

No need to reply to solve the problem, already fixed it,

Ironically I opened the computer managemente app, and it loaded fine there, after a while, I wondered  if Event viewer could do the same in the individual app, the first time it didn’t but after opening every single file that even viewer has in computer managemente,  oddly enough It fixed it.  so let me change my question,  why it fixed it?

Hard to understand you, if Event Viewer works in both instances then there might have been a delay cause by first time use of the Event Viewer snap-in. Sometimes the Event Viewer is just slow do the work while to responding to requests.

I found it weird too, luckily everything is alright now.
