Hi, if I receive a message and want to save the music on my hard drive this is the way I do it, I go into TOOLS,OPTIONS,SEND unclick “Reply to messages using the format in which they were sent” and change MAIL SENDING FORMAT to plain text. Open your message and press forward to, you will then see all the attachments in the message even the music so you save only the music in a directory that you can retrieve later and play the music. Oh, do not forget to go back into your TOOLS,OPTIONS, SEND and put things the way they were. Well, my problem this morning is that the music attach.does not appear. Why is that? Can anyone help?

AskWoody LoungerNovember 17, 2006 at 2:09 pm #1039274I meant, if you can copy the relevant section of the code into a post, we may be able to tell if it was embedded or linked to a remote site. I haven’t got an example – no-one sends me emails with sound! – so I can’t give you any clues as to what to look for.
(If you want to forward an edited copy to me at the email address in my profile I’ll see what I can see.)

AskWoody LoungerNovember 19, 2006 at 7:50 pm #1039525Hi Leif, everything is ok now. Thanks for your help. Besides doing my routine as I explained before I forgot I also had to click on the tab READ and put a check mark on Read all messages in plain text. Of course after getting what I am after like the music I have to go back in there and uncheck Read all messages in plain text and in the tab SEND put back Mail Sending Format in HTML. I hope I have helped you also in this task. Thanks again.
