I’ve read about multiple tabs in Windows 11 File Explorer, but am wondering if multiple tabs will be coming to Windows 10 FE anytime in the future?

If not, does anyone have recommendations for app/software that will create multiple tabs for Windows 10 with a File-Explorer look?

Do you use it? The latest version is Oct 2013. The last beta (2) version 1.4.0 is Nov, 2020. I’ve run across it in web searches, but in recommending it, do you actually use it?

I have used Explorer++, and I highly recommend it.  I think you will be quite pleased with its ease of use, as well as its similarity to Windows File Explorer.  I’m currently using the beta version 1.4.0

Figured I’d throw in my two cents here. I use a program called Actual Window Manager which has the ability to create multiple tabs in explorer. It’s not for the feint of heart though as it has soooo many settings and possibilities. I primarily use it for the extra options to move specific windows to a certain monitor or quickly change the sound device for a program instead of digging through windows settings each time and things like transparency but it can do a lot if you invest the time into tweaking it to your needs.
