What causes FP to display several overlapping includes of a page?

On win98, i copy a site from zip drive to web folders. Open FP on a page: it shows all borders. The page “space” includes an additional copy of the borders and the page, and inside that is another copy of the page + borders. Close THAT! Reopen site, borders exist, page content gone.

Fix that page, work for “a while”, generate a new page that is included content. Change to nav view, drag the new page into position. Double click on the parent page, it opens in page view with the multiple includes as described above. Switch to HTML View: a series of tags followed by but NO content scratch Preview view shows the multiple includes. Close the page, lose the content.

Is FP just unstable, or should I blame win98, or perhaps i shouldve ‘saved’ more often…
