    In windows 98 for some reason on mouse click several icons or cells are selected at once and I cannot find out what is causing it or how to prevent it.

    Can anyone help please brickwall

      Sounds like a sticky shift key. It could also be the mouse driver. Can you provide more details about what you are doing when it happens? Even the most mundane would be useful.

        Hi there

        I think the mouse might be the problem, I have just installed a Logitech cordless I will re-install and let you know.
