Can anyone explain how I can prevent all of my pivot tables from automatically adjusting the column width? i have multiple pivots on one sheet and each time I “refresh all,” the data column with adjust the column width. I’ve already tried fixing the Table-Options for “preserve formatting” and “auto-format table,” but neither one worked. I’ve attached a sample of how the pivots are laid out. I’ve pasted values so that it could fit within the size restriction.

If you CLEAR the check box “AutoFormat table” in the PivotTable Options dialog, Excel should leave column widths alone.

OH MY GOODNESS! Dummy alert! I KNEW that I had already cleared all of the “auto-format” fields. I KNEW I already checked that twice before I reached out to you. But of course…when I went back in to check the settings on all of my tables again, some gremlin got in there and changed it back to auto-format on me. When I changed it and ALL of the pivot tables were set to NOT auto-format, of course it did work perfectly. blush

        THANK YOU…YET AGAIN!
