I currently have a family subscription to Microsoft 365 which comes with 6 accounts and each gets its own One Drive.

I want to be able to have one account for personal stuff and one for business stuff, but have access to BOTH at the same time under one windows log in one one PC.

What’s the best way to do that?

I don’t think there’s any way you can have two Personal/Family OneDrives in a single Windows account.

You can only have OneDrive Personal/Family and OneDrive for Business together under the same log-in:

Microsoft OneDrive for home accounts and Microsoft 365 work or school accounts cannot be merged, but they can be used side by side.

How do I merge my OneDrive for home with my OneDrive for work or school ?

… using the OFFICIAL Microsoft OneDrive client.

If you use a separate application, as in a third-party client, then that should be able to have a configuration completely independent of what you have in the official Microsoft client.

At least rclone can sync OneDrive; it’s sort of … very technical, but free. Have used, worked when I did, not using currently.

Insync advertises multiple account capability on their page, but I have no personal experience with it. Multiple pricing plans, apparently has a free trial.

I use the matrioshka method, essentially embedding one account inside another.

      • In the secondary account, create a folder (I use the account name as the folder name).
      • Move all the folders into this new folder.
      • Share the new folder with the primary account.
      • In the primary account, open the share from the secondary account. You now have access to both accounts through the primary account.

Since the secondary account folder is shared, it does not use any of the storage allocation of the primary account. I haven’t been using this very long, and I am only embedding a single account in my primary account, but I think it will scale up to your six accounts.

      Good luck!
