Is is legal / possible to have the same copy of Access / Office on multiple comters at the same time. These are home computers, on desktop, one laptop.

I have three versions of the programs, 2003, 2007, and now 2010. I would like to have all three on both machines.

I am not sure about multiple Computers, you need to look at the License for the product.
I believe that you can (in some Office Versions anyway) have it installed on a PC and also 1 Laptop.
This is intended for use by 1 user. If you have an academic licensed copy, than these are usually
allowed on 2 machines used by the same person.
The rules do NOT apply to OEM Copies

and as for running multiple versions, yes as long as you install them in version order.

The install allows you to elect to keep previous versions.

However when you start a different version there is a bit of reinstalling that goes on.

but apart from that they seem to play nice together.

A2007 loses the developer extensions when you go to a previous version but it’s easy enough to get that back.

But I can’t say I’ve needed to use any of the previous versions since I installed 2010.

I now do all my dev in 2010 but test releases for clients running earlier versions in VMs.
