hi I have a windows 7 64bit pc. How easy is it to uninstall MSE and replace it with Avast Free? Also do you just have to run the uninstall from Progs and features to get rid of MSE

In my experience, MSE uninstalls without issues, so yes, you just need to uninstall it from Progs and Features.
