    Hi can you help.
I have my windows xp home set to inform me of updates but to let me choose and install. However after the June updates I thought I was up to date, but when I ran Secunia and Belarc advisor it showed two updates missing – KB2518864 & KB2478658. When I did a manual search (http://tinyurl.com/6klnvl7 & http://tinyurl.com/62ypcyz) I am offered the option to download one of three patches for each, which are

    NDP20SP2-KB2518864-IA64.exe 39.2MB
    NDP20SP2-KB2518864-x64.exe 32.6MB
    NDP20SP2-KB2518864-x86.exe 14.9MB

    NDP20SP2-KB2478658-IA64.exe 4.9MB
    NDP20SP2-KB2478658-x64.exe 4.9MB
    NDP20SP2-KB2478658-x86.exe 2.8MB

My dilema is which one of each should I download and install? Is there a reason why these updates were not offered and any problems associated ?

    Thanks for any advise.

You want to download the X86 version.

I noticed that the .NET patches were offered after other patches on some of the PCs I monitor. Have you tried running Windows Update again?
